Now a day’s internet makes our world more comfortable. We can gather and share our views through websites and blogs. In that case backlink is very familiar word. May be there are some friends still in confusion about this topic, or maybe they know very little. I hope in a basic level this writing will help them all.

When from other website your website is connected, that’s we preferred as backlink. And that counts as a vote for your site. Because giving number of backlinks means in their view your site has some specialties.
There are some sites in net which may bring facilities for you. For an example, if you got backlinks from some well page ranked site like, amazon.com, addthis.com, Yahoo! etc that’s increase your sites status. But one major thing you have to remember, that every given link is not backlink. Now you can charge me that I said before that When from other website your website is connected, that’s we preferred as backlink’. In general view that’s right, but today many site uses no follow tag. Usually to prevent spamming hose sites use this tags. But it also controls the backlink sending. Do not worry I have good news for you. If you use Google web masters tools, you can find that Google can read those links. That means maybe Google can read them as backlink.
Remember every link has their own value. If you recieve 50 links with 0 value site that does not make any changes. Always a valuable site or well ranked site can make differences. Because when a well ranked site gives you backlinks that means he is giving you his valuable essence. So obviously that is more valuable than a 0 ranked site.
